MISS UNIVERSE 2012 CONTESTANTS:

ALINA BUCHSCHACHER SWITZERLAND

AGE : 21 HEIGHT: 1.71 m (5 ft 7 1⁄2 in) HOMETOWN: Berne BIO Alina Buchschacher was raised in a quiet area of Berne, Switzerland. Alina has been an active horseback rider for 14 years and is currently training in show jumping and dressage. Her career ambition is to obtain her degree in Business Administration and eventually take over her father’s Real Estate business. Alina supports a wide variety of foundations and volunteers in her spare time. IN HER OWN WORDS I am taking this challenge with the goal to win; to have the chance to prove and show what qualities I can bring. I will work hard to be successful but at the end of the day, I want to live these 2 ½ weeks as the experience of a lifetime. FUN FACTS Alina hopes to have her own horse breeding farm and train foals. Alina and her older sister are 19 months apart and are best friends. Alina once saved a little boy who jumped into a pool and did not know how to swim.
