KATHMANDU: With renewed energy, triumph and a little bit of fun, The Hidden Treasure came out on December 21 at Hotel Mall with their new member Fanta to share and to announce their achievements and endeavours.

It was a moment of review of Miss Nepal 2012 and shaping up of Fanta The Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2013 at the press meet organised by The Hidden Treasure.

Miss Nepal World 2012 Shristi Shrestha, Miss Nepal Earth 2012, Nagma Shrestha and Miss Nepal International 2012, Subekshya Khadka shared their experiences on their international pageant participation. All the three girls thanked their supporters while Shristi and Nagma credited their achievements to the whole team.

Shristi expressed, “It was such an honour to represent my country in Miss World 2012. I did my best in every possible way. And I couldn’t have achieved anything without their support. It is my lifetime journey. I feel proud and happy.”
Shristi was in the top 20 in Miss World 2012 alongside other accomplishments in different subtitles. Meanwhile, Nagma recently made Nepal proud by coming in top eight in the Miss Earth 2012, winning Best Formal Wear and taking Nepali documentary in top three, to which she shared, “It is just not my achievement. It is our achievement”.
Furthermore, gaining experience from the international contest, Khadka mentioned, “It was a great experience. It wasn’t just competition but like a cultural exchange programme. I got a lot of support, however, few things are still lacking here.”

Nonetheless, the girls made the Hidden Treasure proud as its Chairman Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati stated, “It is a milestone for us as achievements are concerned. We had been striving for it for a long time. We hope to do better in coming years.”

In the second half of the event, Fanta The Hidden Treasure Miss Nepal 2013 was announced. As per the meet, it will take place on March 15, 2013. And Fanta is going to “add playfulness, cheerfulness to Miss Nepal” as per Shadab Khan, Country Manager of Nepal and Bhutan for Coca-Cola. Moreover, many activities are to take place in the upcoming Miss Nepal. They include interaction between customer and contestants and most importantly auditions will take in five different cities of the country.
